O.G.A. FOR AID (www.ogaforaid.org) is seeking a volunteer for a period of one month or more to assist with operations in Minamisanriku, one of the hardest hit areas in the March 11 disaster. You will be required to help run and promote a Community Learning Center. Tasks will include teaching English to all ages of people and creating a curriculum, promoting the center to townspeople and visitors and general management, which includes for the internet café. Accommodation, food and local transportation are all provided. Prefer someone with drivers’ license, as there may also be the opportunity to help deliver essential supplies to temporary housing units. If you’ve ever wanted to volunteer, here’s your chance.
